signature stamps

The stamp used on our hang tags.

Say high to our TEEVO chimp-this guy is being promoted to a new job role- taking part in adding a signature to our T-shirts and bags. The idea is that our stamps are our own personal touch to let each customer know that their product has been lovingly crafted by either Tommy, myself or both of us and to give the product the artists signature that we feel every limited edition product deserves. It is a bit of fun to!

​I already use a stamp on our hang tags for our £7.99ers,  of a chimp that I designed when we used to be known as 'T-shirt Evolution'. The chimp design was inspired by the march of progress image that shows the evolution of man. And of course, having evolution in our name meant that I went with that theme and naturally our chimp had to be wearing a t-shirt ​😉

As our name suggests - we do constantly evolve as a business and subsequently decided to change our name from 'T-shirt Evolution' to TEEVO, which as you can probably guess is a shortened version. We think that TEEVO is a bit less of a mouth full and mainly, as anyone who has tried to decide on a good name for their business will know, how bloomin' hard it is to find a good name that hasn't already been taken!! Turns out T-shirt Evolution was already trademarked GRRRRRRR!!!  It's a good job we like the name TEEVO innit!!! ​😁

Now the important bit, as I previously mentioned - I intend to create a signature stamp for both Tommy and myself. Tommy said he likes our chimp so will use that, what to do for Amber's stamp? HHHHHMMMMMM.........Got to be an animal to keep it themed (we like animals) got to be created using the same visual aesthetic.........Tommy had a good idea! He thinks a good animal to choose would be a sloth, and not because they are cute either! cheeky beggar! What can I say, I like to take my time on things 😊  however I thought it to be a very good idea because let's face it, Sloths are just ace! ( aside from Tommy's dig at my sloth-like tendencies )

So I now have to turn this little fella into my signature stamp using the same style as our chimp.............watch this space. Once it has been done I will be sure to show you guys. Any name suggestions in our comments are welcome - I can only think of Clyde for our chimp but that's just too darn obvious.
